Hi,

I'm having trouble figuring out how to lower the ringer volume on our VSX 7000a. I lower the volume when not in a call, but the ringer volume is also unaffected and I continue to hear the voice call out key presses when dialing. It's loud by default, so I'm just wondering how I could lower this setting? It wouldn't be a big deal except that we are getting dozens of unsolicited/random incoming calls a day, so the sound of the ringer can be heard several times an hour.

Thanks,

Anthony

Please refer to the VSX Administrator's Guide on the Polycom support web site http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/us/support/video/vsx_series/vsx7000.html

Look under 'Audio' settings, 'Sound Effects Volume'
