Hi

I have a HDX7000 and a VSX7000 at the same VLAN, behind a Watcthguard XTM.

After programming 1to1 NAT i the Watchguard the HDX7000 works fine.

The VSX7000 can make an outgoing call (with the green button!), but gets no video from receiving end, they can see us.

When we get an incomming call it is not possible to accept it, the green button sends IR, but nothing happens.

I can use the red button to disconnect the call.

I have very difficult to see if I have a hardware error or a firewall issue.

Any help wil be apriciated.

It's probably NOT a hardware issue.

The problem is, once you give the HDX the "NAT" address, there is no way for you to give it to the VSX.    It's one or the other.  If both the systems are behind your firewall, you need something (Gatekeeper, VBP-E box, etc) that will let you send the call from the public to a specific video system.

Think of a PBX that only has one outside number...     How do we get to another extension.   A VBP 4300/53xx -E box will do the job nicely...   You can find them on Ebay if you wanted to go cheap...

Good Luck,

Gary M
