Studio X30

Hello!

I have other Poly units and Surface Hub2s that work great. We recently were given Studio X30 and Studio X70 for our new office. When we try to add them to Teams, Intune intercepts the devices and thinks the devices are phones due to the Android OS.

I am looking for a best practice or documentation of how Intune could be configured to treat these like the other meeting rooms we have deployed.

We checked the account on another device, not the X30/X70, and it worked so it is not an account thing.

Some of the tweaks we did for these devices started to ask for a Qcode activation, which is not idea.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @Pschnick ,

Welcome to the HP community.

What was your solution? Sharing this could help others.

This is important especially in the future when someone finds this post in days, months, or years to come.

I am aware that Intune can for example restrict the Android versions as explained here:

Jan 3, 2020 Question: Is there a way to modify Intunes Policy Exclusion for Teams Android Devices to cater to older Android versions?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Best regards
