Accidentally deleted "HP Installation files" (5GB worth!). Am I now in trouble?

Ran the "CCleaner" app, and did not realize "Delete HP Installation Files" box was checked.

I gained 5GB of space, very nice...but will there be problem later? Thanks any info.

Hi:

You won't have an issue regarding the operation of your PC.

All of those files are stored on the hard drive for later use if you need to reinstall a driver or program that came with your PC.

I always delete that too (after copying the file to a portable hard drive for safekeeping).

I think once in 10 years I have gone back to that folder to reinstall a program.

Normally you can find most of what you need on your notebook's support and driver page, should you need to install some drivers or programs like power DVD or Cyberlink YouCam.

None of the bundled HP games or other trial ware is available for download though.
