I understand that you are looking to upgrade your notebook RAM. I checked the upgrade options on your notebook and yes, your notebook has 2 ram slots which can hold up to 8 GB each. Hence, you can upgrade to a total of 16 GB. Check the screenshot below:

 

 

Also, check the PC maintenance and the service guide for more upgrade options. (Page 1 for RAM upgrades): http://hp.care/2eG0WKI

As you mentioned you needed to how many ram slot does HP bc021tx has.

 

I have checked the specifications of your laptop it has two memory slots and you can upgrade the memory to 16GB.

 

Please find the replacement memory part numbers listed below.

 

4 GB 2133 MHz 1.2v DDR4 shared -  820569-005
8 GB 2133 MHz 1.2v DDR4 shared -  820570-005
2 GB 2133 MHz 1.2v DDR4 shared -  851379-005

 

You can purchase the part from HP parts store using this link.

 

Or you can contact HP support and order the part.
