Cracked Digitizer

HP OMEN 15-5020ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

It seems i've cracked the digitizer on my laptop and now the touch function doesn't work properly. While the display still works fine there's a giant crack across the screen and it's really annoying. I had to disable the touch via Hardware Manager because it was really going haywire.

I keep trying to call the support number, 1.866.724.8600, (removed content) but the machine keeps telling me that it " can't connect me to anybody."

I don't understand. How can I get ahold of someone at HP so I can get this fixed?

If you are not in warraty you can order both parts from HP Part Surfer.

Per Page 15 per Maintenance and Service Guide,  Display Panel Kit part number 788608-001 and  Touch control board part number 788606-001

Please keep me informed of how things went.
