HP OMEN GAMING LAPTOP

HP Recommended
HP OMEN
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am using this OMEN laptop, at the same time with my adapter plug in. I can feel the static around the keyboard when I am typing, and my wrists can feel the electicity shock when i rest my wrist on the keyboard area. Is this a manufacturing defect? I got the unit less than a year.

I recommend that you do not use the Omen notebook with the adapter, except for charging the battery until the issue has been resolved.

Contact Hp for warranty service by use of one of the methods on the following webpage.

I have asked to have your issue escalated.

@edwardtkh

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
