I recently got a new Hp Omen 17-w033dx from Best Buy. I have noticed when the computer is idle it uses the battery instead of the charger, even though it's plugged in. When I get on the laptop the next day, usually it's shut itself down due to the battery being drained. It will only start charging the battery again if I unplug the charger and plug it back in, after this the charging resumes. Today the battery is currently at 55% and says (Plugged in, not charging) as I have not unplugged the charger and plugged it back in yet today as I wanted to see if it would begin charging on its own, which it isn't. I have to do this every day. Help would be appreciated!
As usual HP always has to offer you faulty products just like me I recieved a all in one which had hardware issues and usb problems
the reasons it isnt charging:
HP is cheap so you know what to expect the ports on my PC dont work properly just like yours this is normal being a HP user so your Laptops plug is either not fitting in because HP was to lazy to make a proper fit in the charging port OR
because your laptop is a power sucking junk and the port is either faulty like everything else they make.
HP wont help you because you did'nt buy it from their website dont waste your time just refund it FAST and custom build a laptop with your own choices or custom build a pc I prefer PC since it can handle more
go to Techsource's youtube channel he reviews products and custom builds epic PC's and shows a benchmark test for them trust me you got ripped off my HP Techsource even builds GAMING Pc's for only $350 up to $6000 here heres a link to his youtube channel dont waste your time like I said HP wont help you due to the fact you got it from best buy so instead check his channel out and refund you laptop and build a PC from techsource's channel HERE:
