HP Omen Control not working on non-admin account

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using an HP Omen 15, and Omen Control does not seem to be working on the non-admin account. I can change the settings, but those settings do not seem to be reflected in the actual keyboard (i.e. P1-P6 customization does nothing, no color change from the red backlighting, etc). 

 

What is the fix for this?

Hey there! @TheRozb, Welcome to HP forums.

 

I understand that omen control center is not working in a non-admin account.

 

Please give administrator permission, for the other user account and check.

 

Please try the steps recommended below.

 

1.From the Windows desktop, click the HP OMEN Control icon.
2. Under Profiles, click the + icon to create a user profile.
3. Type the name of the user profile.

 

Please refer this user manual for more information.

 

Note: Refer page 14 for more information.

 

Also, if the issue persists, Please provide the product number of your PC.

 

I will try to find the best solution.
