Is it save to put the Pavilion P6655 on its side?

Good day HP support,

 

No doubt this has been asked many times before, for many different desktops, but I still wondered: Is it save to put the Pavilion P6655 on its left side?

Hi:

 

I see a vent on the left side of the PC as illustrated below.

 

Unless you put the PC up on some rubber blocks so as not to cover the vents, you should not lay the PC on a side with any vents.

 

You would need at least an inch of clearance (if not more) for the air to circulate properly.
