Omen Gaming
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the Omen gaming computer do you need a special Monitior ? As i used myu monitor with my previous HP ,but the connections appear to be different for the new one i have just bought ....can anyone advise me please

I understand that you wanted to know if you need a new monitor for you Omen PC as the connections with the old HP monitor appear to be different.

Hi thank you for your reply,when i click on both lincs that you gave me i got error 404 ..coming up..Today i bought a adapter and thought that i had solved the problem ...  it is DIV-IM TO VGA F adaptor    ..however the VGA side fits my connection from the monitor,but the other side wont fit the computor.Although the computer side has 24pins.  Hope you can follow my explaination ..

I understand that you purchased a DIV-IM to VGA adapter but the DIV pin does not fit to the computer. I also see that the link to the website is not opening.

 

As of now, our website is going through an upgrade.

 

Please get back to us with the model number of the computer to check the connection.

OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 870-269na  is the computer ..do you not sell a connection that i could buy ?...or is there one included with a new monitor ? Regards

You need to use the HDMI to VGA adapter so that you can connect HDMI end to the Omen computer and the VGA end to HP monitor.
