Pavilion 15 Gaming
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Pavilion 15 Gaming Notebook; Product Number: ak199np (x4L20EA). My 3.5 mm Headset DOES NOT fit into the Jack. It only goes like halfway through then can't go any further. The only audio output I get is through my notebook's B&O Speakers. I've tried different headsets but it's still the same. What should I do?

Greetings @blaise_ab,

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to connect your headphones to your notebook. Don't worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you checked is the specifications of your notebook?

Have you checked if there is any obstruction in the headphone port? (Most of the notebooks go with 3.5 mm audio or combo port and fits any commonly used headphones.)

Could you provide the make and model of the headphones you are using?

For me to be able to provide any resolution, I will need to check the specifications of your notebook, which will let me know the size of the audio port on your computer. (Note: X4L20EA is not found on our website.)

Request you to provide the specifications of your notebook for further assistance.

Let me know if this helped.

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Good Luck.
