Hi,

Please post the HP product number for your PC so that the members of the community can better assist you with your questions and issues.

Try this simulator.

Your PC is fairly old so investing in upgrade technology would probably not be worth it in the long run, especially if you want to run modern games.

Hi, I do not want to spend a lot of money, so is their no way of just buying another graphics card and being able to play games like GTA 4 etc.

How do you find HP product number?

Hi,

Please post the HP product number for your PC. How to Find the HP Model Number and the HP Product Number or let HP automatically find your PC model number and HP network attached printers. This will allow others to review your issue, make suggestions and review your responses. This is usually the best way to get assistance.

Hi,

Your PC will not run modern games at a performance level that would be enjoyable.  The games that you mentioned require graphics cards that are well beyond the level of graphics cards that would work in your PC. Additionally, a higher wattage power supply that is required for your PC is not available.

If you want to run modern games at an enjoyable level then I suggest that you consider a new HP "gaming" level PC.

Hi, thank you for your reply. What if i only want to run games like Modern warfare 3? im sure there isnt a large graphics card required for that. What is the cheap budget graphics card i could buy, which is around 2GB? Thank you

Hi,

Run this online simulator with your existing PC.

I ran MW3 on a PC that was much more robost compared to yours and had to upgrade the graphics card in order to get it to play smoothly.
