HP released an updated driver for the HP system event Utility.
This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This software works with the supported operating systems.
- Fixes an issue where the HP Omen Control hardware setting does not function properly in a system running Windows 10. - Provides support to upgrade the system to Windows 10.
I uninstalled the Omen control software, uninstalled the system event Utility.
Rebooted and installed the updated system event utility(1.40 Rev.A). Rebooted and installed the latest version of the Omen control software (Version 1.10 Rev.B) and everything is fully functioning for me.
