HP released an updated driver for the HP system event Utility.
Details
This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This software works with the supported operating systems.

Fix and enhancements
I uninstalled the Omen control software, uninstalled the system event Utility.
Rebooted and installed the updated system event utility(1.40 Rev.A). Rebooted and installed the latest version of the Omen control software (Version 1.10 Rev.B) and everything is fully functioning for me.

It was the latest one released for Win 8.1. They haven't put one yet on the Win10 page. Here's the link for the US site. If you can't get to the link. I added the details below so you can see the sp*****exe
