Video card stuck on splash screen

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion HPE h8-1226 Deskto
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I had two Zotac Geforce cards one being the 1060 and the other 790 and neither would get pass the hp logo splash screen. There was also 3 beeps that came from the system. Brought it to a techy and he told me that the card is not compatible which do not make sence. A friend of mine has a i5 which mine is a i7 and he has no trouble with his cards. My next option is to buy a msi Raeon rx 480 direct x 12 rx480 gaming x 4g 4gb 256-bit gddr5 pci express 3.0 x 16 hdcp ready crossfirex support atx video card.

I have spent 2 days googleing and cannot not come up with a solution. Im thinking this card will work cause there is a old

AMD Radeon HD 7570.

Any solutions ? Will this work? Please someone help me.

Wont work with the newer cards. You need a mobo bios update. And HP has no updates for it and never will. I have the same mobo myself in my first gen Phoenix.
