Hello JHydronix

Glad to help you out.

This will be for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card

There is •One PCI Express x16 (Gen 3.0), expansion slot on the motherboard and it will definitely fit if there are no other cards installed.  As the card is Gen 3.0, and not Gen 2.0 the working will be comparatively faster and not weak.

The card has :

DVI-D Dual-Link
1
Display Port
3
HDMI
1

So, please do check the requirements.

Talking about the power the TDP is 150 Watt and the recommended power from the Nvidia is 500 watt for a system, 500 being your systems power supply. As there is liquid cooling the 1070 should not be any issues.

From what I have found hopefully these are some cards that were supported on MSI Z97M Gaming Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard :

NVIDIA 9001G4112520001 GeForce GTX 1070 8GB 1.51GHz

NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060 6GB FOUNDERS EDITION 1.51GHz

So yes, I find the card to be supported.

Beware of the overheating though. Please do research before making a purchase.
