hp omen control not working

hp omen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Upon recieving my hp omen the control panel that changes the lights, fan speed, button etc.. worked fine.  After doing all the necesary upgrades through windows 10 and hp assistant nothing seems to be working anymore.  My lights still go on and off from the previously saved format i did before updating however anything new i try to change doesnt work.  Also when i click on the hp omen control icon or button nothing happens or opens.  I have to go to task manager and end the task for it to open for only 1 time and than it repeats this process.  Any changes i try to make under it doesnt do anything.  Thanks for any help anyone can give!
