Envoy 6400 is printing a line of symbols. No words

@Scooby0101, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I see that the printer is not printing as expected. 

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Also, refer to - HP printer setup (Chromebook)

 

To resolve print quality issues, follow the steps mentioned in this document - No black ink, wrong colors, other print quality issues

Sorry posted to fast. But I'm printing from the hp app. I can't print from anything else. I have to do all the printing from the app. Now this happens

Make a copy and check the result.

 

Reinstall the HP Smart app. Follow the steps mentioned in - HP printer setup (Chromebook)
