I am sending a *.pdf 1-page document (A4) by email to my printer. The document is printed, but on photo paper (4"x6"). I cannot find where this (wrong) setting can be changed. Thank you in advance for any guidance you may provide!

Hi KrazyToad,

Thank you for your help. I spoke earlier with one of your colleagues, who after much time trying to find  the reason for my problem. It turned out that the file which I was using to test ePrint was a A4 document, but saved as a *.jpg file. The printer automatically recognise it as a picture and send it to the photo tray (Tray 2). Solution: sending the same document as a *.pdf document.

Thank you!

Regards

Olivier

Are you using the eprint feature.

If yes, By default, ePrint uses the following print settings. Print quality: Normal Print color: Full color Paper size for emails:

Letter or A4 Paper size for image attachments: 101.6 x 152.4 mm (4 x 6 in) Number of prints:

Paper orientation: Identical to the original document 1-sided printing For eligible printers, additional preferences are available when you add your printer on the HP Smart website.

Go to Setting Up an Account on the HP Smart Website for steps to set up the account. Once added, click My Printers to change the settings.

You can refer to this Link:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03721293

You can also remove the photo papers while using this feature and check if that helps
