My iPad is connected to the printer by blue tooth but it won’t print anything. When I try HP smart it says no printers.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

According to the product specification, Bluetooth can be only used for Audio streaming.

 

Connect the printer and the iPhone using wireless network as mentioned in this document. 

 

You may refer to this document to know how to use the HP Smart app.

 

The user manual can be found here.
