Hi @Mitpatel08,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you’re not seeing the options to select black and white or color printing in the HP Smart app, here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

1. Check Printer Status

  • Ensure that your printer is online and connected to the same network as your device.

2. Update the HP Smart App

  • Make sure that you are using the latest version of the HP Smart app. Check for updates in the app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).

3. Select the Correct Printer

  • Sometimes, multiple printers may be detected. Ensure that you have selected the correct printer from the HP Smart app.

4. Access Printing Preferences

  • Open the document you want to print in the HP Smart app.
  • Tap on the Print icon.
  • Look for a Print Options or Preferences button (this may be represented by a gear icon or similar).
  • If available, adjust the print settings to select either black and white or color.

5. Check the App Permissions

  • Ensure that the HP Smart app has the necessary permissions to access your printer settings.

6. Use a Different Printing Method

  • If you still don’t see the options in the HP Smart app, try printing directly from another application (like Word or PDF viewer) to see if the options appear there.

7. Restart the App and Printer

  • Close the HP Smart app and restart it. You can also turn off your printer and turn it back on.

8. Reinstall the HP Smart App

  • Uninstall and then reinstall the HP Smart app. This can resolve any glitches or issues with the current installation.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
