Bluetooth smart issues hp inkjet

HP Recommended
Hp envy photo 7155
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok I have an hp envy photo 7155, I got it all set up and used it multiple times. One day I was going through the settings and saw there was a Bluetooth setting so I turned it on. Ever since then every time I turn on the printer. It will load for ever saying " turning on Bluetooth smart" and will never let me go to the original menu.

Welcome to the HP support community.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- Click here

I hope that helps.

I have a HP envy 6230. It was printing fine from my iPhone 7 using the HP Smart app. It suddenly stopped working from the app. I tried to turn on the Bluetooth Smart function but it does not connect. I have restarted the printer twice with no joy. I have searched for an update. There is none. I have reinstalled the app and it now cannot find the printer. What is wrong. Why does the app not work. The printer is connected to the same home internet network as my phone.
