HP Recommended
HP 5200
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can't associate my hp printer to my Hp Smart account. I have used the request code to add the printer, but the printer seems connected to another account. I don't have other account. I tried to reset printer to factory status, I tried to deactivate web services, than I have reactivated them, but nothing happens, same problem. Please help me becouse I need to activate "print everywhere" service.

I can't solve the problem becouse it seems the printer is associated to another account but I don't have other account. Do you have the possibility to reset and cancel any cloud association to my printer in order to start again?

Or maybe I need to know which is the email/account that is associated to my printer. Can you help me in this? Can you see in your system which is the email associated to my printer ?

Thanks for replying!

Try these steps to re-enable the web-services -

Step 1 Remove the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings).

2. Touch Remove Web Services.

Reboot the devices.

Step 2 Enable the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Web Services Setup.

3. Touch Accept to accept the Web Services terms of use and enable Web Services.

4. On the screen that appears, touch OK to allow the printer to automatically check for product updates.

5. If the Printer Update Options screen is displayed, select one of the options.

6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.

I did your procedure, but when I start againt, I receive the message that printer is associated to another account.

I tried also with factory reset.

I need to cancell any association to my printer.

Can your cloud staff do this?

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
