Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For some reason everytime I try to login to my HPSmart account or to create a new account I get the following message: "

We're sorry, something went wrong

 
(Error Code: OW_500_OWSID00001)".
I am not connected to a VPN and I have the latest version of the HPSmart app. If someone could help me with this, I'd be very grateful.

@Irina20, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to use the Hp Smart app on your PC. If the server is down, this error may occur. Kindly wait and try again later.

 

Alternatively, check for any pending Windows updates and restart the PC

Reinstall the HP Smart app from Microsoft Store.

 

For the time being, you may install the full-feature printer driver to print and scan from HP Software and Driver Downloads page.

@kumar0307 This has been going on for several months.  I am not able to use the HP Smart App.  You say it may not be available, for months??  I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and nothing works.  It worked fine for a few months, then all of a sudden it wouldn't.  Nothing was changed, just one day it wouldn't work.  Error code received:  contact HP Support. (Error Code: OW_500_OWSID00001)

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
