@DBelfiore,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print from your Chromebook.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  1. Turn on the printer and load plain paper in the input tray.

  2. Make sure ink or toner cartridges are installed.

  3. Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer or Chromebook.

  4. On your computer or Chromebook, open the Chrome browser, and then sign in to your Google account.

    If you have not installed the Chrome browser, go to Download Chrome (in English).

  5. In the address bar, type chrome://devices, and then press Enter.

    Google Cloud Print detects any printers on the network.

    • If your printer is listed under New devices, click Register, and then click Register again to confirm and print a confirmation page.

    • If your printer is listed under My devices, your printer is already registered with Google Cloud Print. Click Manage to view your registered Google Cloud Print printers.

    • If your printer is not listed, make sure your printer is connected to the network or try connecting with your printer's email address. Go to Setting Up and Using HP ePrint to learn how to set up the HP ePrint service. Next, go to Connect Your HP Printer with Google Cloud Print (in English) to register your printer using the email address that HP ePrint assigned to the printer.

  6. Confirm the registration on the printer control panel display or follow the instructions on the page that prints.

    After you confirm the registration, a confirmation page prints. Your printer is now ready to print with Google Cloud Print.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I have tried all the suggestions you have recommened and still nothing.  When I try to get my printers email address from the front display of the LaserJet Pro MFP M225 it gives me the connection error check internet connection.  My printer is hardwired via an ethernet cable from my router to the back of the printer.  I have 2 windows based devices and they find the printer with no issues.

Thanks  Dave
