Change EWS htaccess credentials

HP Recommended
Example: Surface pro 7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.
I want to connect my printer to WiFi. However the setup in the embedded web service asks me for a username and a password that I don’t have anymore. I have reset the heck out of that printer and there is still no way to recover any password. The printer in question is an HP Deskjet 3636.

I used to be able to somehow install the printer using my android phone and connect it to WiFi, but that doesn’t work anymore. Is there any way you can just reset that EWS password or am I stuck forever with a printer that I might have to throw away soon because most of my devices are switching to USB C? I’ve been trying to connect this printer every now and then for like two years now...
