Hi there!

I am trying to link my printer to my laptop wirelessly and I can not find the claim code. I have printed every single page out of my printer and it is not there. The one page they specifically tell you to print and the code should be on the left hand side, its not there. I am so confused and desperate to get this fixed! Please help!

Hey @HPschweiz,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you are having some issues with enabling ePrint on your Envy 7640 e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector.  Once done:

  1. On the printer's display click on the Web Services icon in the bottom left corner.
  2. If you see a line that says Status: Connected, click on the gear, Remove Web Services, and then the Web Services icon.
  3. Click on Setup and Yes.

This should force the printer to print out a sheet of paper with the claim code for ePrint on it. Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to print the claim code, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.
