HP Envy 5540 All-in One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop is Windows 10 but I have Chrome installed and that is what I use. My HP 5540 printer is a cloud printer. When I print a document I get a message that the printer will no longer be supported by Google after December.  How can I resolve this issue? Do I have to buy a different printer or stop using Chrome?  If I buy a non-cloud printer will I still be able to print with Chrome? I don't understand this entire situation. I love my 5540 printer and really don't want to trash it. Please HELP!

It's not the printer - it is the printer software from google that is derelict.

Chrome OS is notoriously picky about what it can do.

If you do decide to change printers, CHECK first to make the the printer software is supported in Chrome OS.
