Hi, so i have gotten rid of my WiFi internet as it is cheaper to just use my mobile hotspot off of my phone. I cannot figure out how to get my HP Deskjet 2622 to connect to my mobile hotspot in order to print from my phone and MacBook. It keeps telling me my printer is not found and on the printer it’s indicating it isn’t connected to a network. I just need assistance with figuring out how to connect to my mobile hotspot. Thanks!!

Hi,

Mobile hotspots usually provide internet access, not local network connectivity which is required for printing.

 

You may use WiFi Direct to connect the Mac directly to your printer and print without a router:
