I don't even know where to start. The printer refuses to recognize the paper size. And continually prints the image at a smaller size when I go through the copy process through my phone, and when I just put the image on the glass and copy (color or B&W) it cuts off the bottom and the image is faded. Through the HP smart app there dosen't seem to be any way to adjust any of this manually accept for the fading which it still prints at a diminishing size. I have been unable to finish the setup process, because I have no desire to sign up for any unwanted emails or ink services. So the app is in a constant "Finish Setup" state. When I select "Letter" size it prints in a 10"x7.5" square on the 11"x8.5" sheet, which isn't even centered on the sheet. The list goes on and on, and one problem rolls into the next.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help.

What's the version of HP Smart App installed? Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the App?

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware:

Update printer firmware

Let me know if this helps.
