Product: HP deskjet 3730

My HP Deskjet 3730 is not printing solid lines. I've changed the cartridges to new ones, colour is working fine. All fine except it doesn't print solid lines. For example if I print a ticket with a barcode. The lines on the barcodes only show the outline, the lines are not filled, therefore the barcode will not scan. The same with lettering, it shows the outline and not filled, difficult to describe but looks like bubble lettering with the inside not being filled/solid colour.
