Does anyone experience issues printing over WiFi or WiFi direct on HP 100 series (107w 108w) Android

Hi. I have hard times getting my HP 107w to work using WiFi on Android - can't get it working neither via network (WiFi), nor via Wi-Fi direct.

Android 11 and Android 12,  three (3) different Samsung devices.

I've tried all three options: Android's default print service, hp print service, samsung print service plugin

Android's simply can't find the printer (just like Samsung's)

HP print service behaves strangely. I finds printers both via WiFi and WiFi direct, but I can't print - when I open some app, like Adobe or Word, "detected" printers are grayed out.

What's also weird, is that under Android's Printing settings, if I open HP's plugin, I do see my printer, but:

1. it's WiFi-direct icon is turning normal/grayed-out

2. if I try to press  "i" icon next to my printer's WiFi part (the one where my printer is registered to my access point), it shows "fetching printer information", and then I get error like "printer software problem" "The printer software does not support the selected printer. Check for update at your devices's app market or contact the printer manufacturer. "

I don't have any internal firewall, so...

I've set WiFi power policy not to turn it off.

I can access/manage my printer via EWS

Printer's SW info: V3.82.01.15 (it also didn't work on previous firmware V3.82.01.11)

Network version V6.01.00

The HP Print Service allow managing the printer and you are not expected to be able printing from there.

What exact behavior occur when you try printing to the printer? what exact behavior or error message is shown then?

Else, please clarify about the actual issue when trying to print to better understand the problem or any possible cause.

As well, is the wireless connection stable? wake up the printer from sleep and ensure the power ready is solid, then clarify the blue wireless light behavior - does it solid lit or blinking?

In Android, if some printer isn't available, the system simply doesn't show Print button (yellow round one in my case).

As of quality of WiFi link, EWS claims it's good.

I'll try to post some screenshots.
