Duplex or 2-sided printing from an iPad for a PDF

Hello there

please can someone tell me how I can go into my printer properties to select double sided printing.  In the past, say if it was a Word document, I could select file, printer properties etc.  However, I want to print a PDF and for the life of me I cannot find an option to choose double sided, nor can I find option on the HP Print app.

It may be really simple but I cannot find this option.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

In general, DeskJet printers not have a duplexer .

This means (that) printing a document 2-sided is always a "manual operation".

The HP Smart PDF print operation is not supported with a "sort option" -- you must not only be prepared to print one side at a time, you must sort the input.

The video shows the workaround for the task to print a 2-sided PDF document using HP Smart and a DeskJet printer.

Tutorial shows how to print a 2-sided document on the DeskJet printer.

This is a manual workaround as the printer does not support automatic 2-sided printing.

Using the Full Feature Software (for example, in a supported Windows PC) provides enough driver support that documents can be printed two sided and the resulting pages are sorted.
