ENVY 5032 cannot retrieve e-mailadress but all network and websettings are OK and operational

My HP ePrint function no longer works. The printer indicated that it cannot retrieve an e-mailadress. All settings are checked, both online, offline as well as on the printer itself, and appear to be working just fine. The internet and other connections are OK and operational (at least that is what the printer indicates). No restrictions are set with respect to who can use the e-mailadress (so it should accept all print tasks sent to that address). It only gives the above error message, and I cannot find out what the reason is.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "cannot retrieve email address" issue. 

 

Let's try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  Opens the Web Services Summary menu, where you can check HP ePrint status details, change HP ePrint settings, or print an Info page.

 

On the printer screen, when you touch the web services icon, are you able to view the printer's email address?

Are you getting any errors?
