Evolis Tattoo card printer not recognised as a printer

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Printer is an Evolis Tattoo (I have installed their latest windows 10 driver) and my laptop is an HP Pavillion (Beatsound). I have connected the printer to the composit USB with a short fast USB printer lead. It is recongnised as an "unsepcified" device and not a printer. This is the only device connected. How do I get the computer to recognise the Evolis Tattoo as a printer? The default HP printer is connected via bluetooth and is fine.  Thanks.

Hi @RECX,

Welcome to the HP Support Forum!

You want your HP Pavillion to recognize your Evolis Tattoo 2 as a "printer" and not a "device," correct?

Are you unable to print from your computer to the card printer?

Hello

I have the same problem. The printer is the first model of Evolis Tattoo

I have connected it on my computer (USB) after having installed drivers froé Evolis (3256_33292_SetUp_Tattoo_20080117.exe)

The printer is not declared as a printer but simply as a "logical peripheral", so I can't print on it.

What can I do ?

Thanks
