HP Recommended

I recently bought an HP docking station G2 and got it all set up with my omen laptop 17 inch(an0xx)- or so I thought. When I pressed the button on the dock to turn on the computer, it wouldn’t turn on. I also noticed that the light was on even though the laptop was off. The power button does nothing!! I hav searched for hours online and downloaded the drivers for my laptop, and nothing! It works fine with my other laptop, but the omen is my main laptop and I’d love it to work with that! Anything helps! Thanks in advance!
