HP2600n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, my printer connected via USB to my Minitower-PC (Windows 10) works fine. The Minitower is connected to the WLAN-Router (FritzBox) via LAN-cable. So far so good. I had a Notebook connected to the Router via WIFI (Windows 7) and printed on the printer connected to my Minitower  - worked well. Now I changed the notebook to a new one with Windows 10, installed the printer on that notebook using the host-identification. The testprinting is OK, it says "the HP Color LaserJet HP2600n was installed on PC... correctly", but when I want to print other papers it says "printer not available".

What the hack is wrong??

Another thing irritates me: When I  print the configuration-page of the printer the IP-adresses are all 0.0.0. but when I want to change the IP-adresses to the correct values they are shown and saved in the printer-display. So I cannot adress the printer with the IP-adresses in my notebook.

Is the problem the printer? The new Windows 10?

Sorry friends, found the reason / solution!

I needed the rights to connect to the printer and I didn't save the rights after installation. So now after saving the rights I can print from the Notebook with only the other PC and the connected printer started - without extra sign in.

Have a nice day!
