Hello, I hope you all are well and safe. I have a HP 5530 and it has an error message  (C4EBA381) and blue flashing screen, accompanied by a low level beeping. Yes, I realize the printer is old, lol, but it's honestly the best printer I've ever had and if it can be saved, that would be great. I've followed the steps found online of removing the cartridges and power cord while the printer is on to no avail. Thanks so much!!!!

Hi @goodyc,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.

If you have performed the steps mentioned below and from this document here, then it needs to be checked.

> While the printer is ON, remove the cartridges.

2> While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.

3> Power Off the wireless router.

4> Wait for 60 seconds.

5> Plug in the power cord to the printer. If the printer does not power ON, then press the ON button to do so.

6> Install the cartridges when prompted.

The above steps should resolve the issue.

If not, try the  steps that are mentioned in the below URL: HP ENVY, DeskJet Printers - The Resume Light and Ink Alert Lights Blink

You can try to update the drivers: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
