My HP 8600 eprint address is not associated with my account anymore. Has a custom eprint email applied and working. How to reassociate the printer with my account?  The printer was purchased new and has never left its workplace since its setup and has never been associated with any other account

@drtnw, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that you're unable to use the ePrint email address, follow the steps below-

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Log in to your HP Connected account, remove and add the printer. Try printing.

If the issue persists, try these steps to re-enable the web-services -

Step 1 Remove the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings).

2. Touch Remove Web Services.

Reboot the devices.

Step 2 Enable the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Web Services Setup .

3. Touch Accept to accept the Web Services terms of use and enable Web Services.

4. On the screen that appears, touch OK to allow the printer to automatically check for product updates.

5. If the Printer Update Options screen is displayed, select one of the options.

6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you for assisting me on this problem.   I seem to misunderstood here as I did not mention "unable to use the ePrint email address"  I can print using the email address of choice for the printer.  The issue is that although this printer was registered under my account originally, it has since disappeared, and I see no way of adding it back and keeping the eprint address.  Please correct me if I am wrong here, but as I understand it if I remove web services to try and reassociate the printer with my account I will lose the eprint address for 6 months.  That is not a good solution for me right now.  I have already updated to the latest firmware available for the unit.  Looking forward to further help.
