HP ENVY 5640

Hopefully someone can help me.

I have an HPENVY 5640.

After installing it,  I setup eprint with a custom printer email address so I can remember it. (eg: myprnter@eprint.com). I’ve been using this for some time with no problem.

Ive recently had an online ordering system set up for my customers to place orders rather than call me...

The ordering system generates a pdf and is emailed directly to me.

My problem is my Web developer can’t seem to get the pdfs direct to the printer using the HP eprint email address... Is there something in the setting that will let this redirected email be received at the printer?

Many Thanks,

Nev

Welcome to HP support community.

Turn on the web services

  1. On your control panel, press the HP ePrint icon or button.

If your control panel does not have an HP ePrint icon or button, navigate to Web Services Setup, Network Setup, or Wireless Settings to open the Web Services menu.

    • If a Web Services Summary screen or connected status displays, Web Services is already on.

Example of Web Services Summary screen

    • If a prompt to turn on Web Services or setup HP ePrint displays, press Turn On, Enable, or Setup.

Example of clicking Setup to turn on Web Services.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to turn on Web Services. If you are prompted to update the firmware, press OK.
