I have checked the solutions given for problems with double sided printing but the solutions noted for flipping on the long side do not solve my problem.  Whether I set the preference to flipping on the long side or flipping on the short side the printer flips the pages on the short side.  Is the printer faulty?

Welcome to HP support community.

  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.

Thank you, double sided printing now works. However, I uninstalled the HP Smart App as part of this, is it ok to reinstall this? Also, how do you mark a post as an accepted solution?
