HP Envy 7645 won't connect to wifi

Printer is apparently connected (based on Fax # and signals but the message "is no answer" even when I called response is that the fax is "on"

It seems like you are trying to set up fax on the printer. Wireless has nothing to do with faxing.

Are you using a shared like or a dedicated fax line?

Check the connections. 

For now, let us run a fax test  on the printer

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Fax setup > Tools > Test
