I have an HP OfficeJet 3830 e-All-in-One Printer Series printer.
I have enabled webservices, and successfully registered the printer at hpsmart.com/hpconnected.com and also successfully changed the printer name and the new name is being picked up by the printer when it is asked to retrieve the printer name.
When I connect to the printer’s configuration using a browser I can confirm that the WiFi is working and is connected to the Internet.
However, when I try select the "Web Services Information Page" or "Update the Printer" menu options I get the message "The printer could not connect to web services. Web services might be busy or temporary unavailable. try again later.”
I have tried numerous time so I don't think it is busy.
I get a similar internet not available message when I connect to the printers configuration menu via a browser and try and enable the Google Cloud printing option.
I have checked that the firmware is up to date, that the date and time on the printer is correct. The printer and internet is working because the printer name is retrieved okay.
When I print to the printers email address there is no print.
Anything that I am missing?
