HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Scan issue when changed Internet Providers

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Using HP Smart app - SCAN does not work once I changed internet providers.

I can print to printer

I can scan from the printer, but it will put it in my computer's Scan folder and not in the HP Smart app SCAN on my computer (like it used to)

Gives me an error message when I pull up the HP Smart app "printer offline"

Changed my Wi-Fi info on the printer.

Changed by Internet on the computer.

Try reinstalling the HP Smart app and see if that helps.


Search for HP Smart, right-click it, and select Uninstall.

Reinstall the app from the MS Store and check for any difference:
