I had to reset my router today, which prompted me to set up the wireless connection on my printer again.  Since then I have been unable to scan to my email.  The error says the printer is unable to connect to the Web Services server.

I have also installed all updates, reconnected the power after a 60 second wait, reset the printer to factory settings and reset up the wireless connection.  The printer copies fine; it just will not scan to email.

Hi @SN1301

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try and set a manual ip to resolve the issue -

To set a manual IP and try the steps below ( with control panel)

--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
--->then go to network ---> general ---> network protocols ---> select IPV4 only-->apply
--->go to wireless ---> wireless 802.11---> select manual ip ---> apply
--->Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
--->then go to settings on the main ews page --> power management ---> select sleep mode to max 15 min

Let's disable web services and re-enable it

--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
---> click on web services and remove web services and re-enable it

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I was finally able to get it to work the other day but forgot to update the Community.  All it ended up needing was a restart of my laptop.  I should have thought of that before posting.

Thanks for the help!
