Can anyone suggest how normal documents can be printed using the HP Smart Android app - it only gives the option to print PDF files.

Thanks! Surely this is very short-sighted of HP to exclude the most common type of Document (word.doc) from being printed! I have used Android for many years and never had any difficulty with printing, until HP advised that I had to now use the HP Smart App.....not very Smart! Fortunately, I have the HP eprint app, which works.
System enhancement - adding errors and problems to a previously tried and tested sytem!

You are welcome.
I sympathise - but I don't have any additional options (to offer you) to make you happier about the situation. I have an older Android phone - and it is used to make phone calls. Everything else is iOS, Windows, or Linux flavored.
Yes, ePrint is more "universal" and tolerant of device types. Smiling.

Thanks, Dragon-fur!
Mmmmm - Android, the most widely used portable platform in the World! Personally, I have no wish to pay inflated prices for devices which use an inflexible, controlling system ......I'll stick to Android!
Best regards,
P.

Smiling. My old phone is not so smart as are the new, fancy, galaxy models. That is on me - I have a love affair with new tech but I have neglected my poor phone.
I hope you find something that works - or that HP hears the pleas of the Android community and updates their apps.
Thanks for your comments.
