Since HP changed HP Connected to HP Smart none of my registered printers are listed in My Printers.

I have registered a printer since the change and even that isn't listed.

Anyone else seeing this problem?

Hello,

Make sure that the printer's Web Services are enabled, go to the category Turning On Web Services.

If the issue persists, please disable and re-enable the printer's Web Services and re-register the printer to your HP Smart account.

Don't hesitate to ask us if you need us.

Hi Mans,

So are you saying that if a printer's web services are not switched then when I log into HP Smart and select My Printers, that printer won't be listed.

I have just registered a printer, it is sitting next to me with Web Services enabled.

I log into HP Smart and click My Printers.  It shows me the Add a Printer page and none of my printers, including the one sat next to are listed.

Before the move from HP Connected to HP Smart, all my printers were listed regardless.

By the way, these are company printers remotely located around the country, so to re-register would not be easy.

Regards

Paul

Thanks for your for return,

Check the status of HP ePrint from the printer panel "Connected or Offline" by pressing the ePrint icon (), and also check that you are entering the correct email address (e.g. 681g7569bqq) it is not necessary to put @hprint.com at the end of the request code.

Please update the printer and router firmware.

Please download and install HP Smart: Install and Use the HP Smart App (Windows 10).

In case of need, do not hesitate to solicit us.

Hi Mans

Thank you for your update but this doesn't help.

My question relates to the HP Smart web site where my registered printers aren't showing.

I registered a printer this morning and its control panel is saying it is connected to web services and it has the correct email address, but it isn't listed on the HP Smart web site under My Printers. The printer's firmware is up to date,

I have many printers registered and none of them are listed.

We have a leased line internet connection and corporate wifi so router firmware is irrelevant.

I know you want to help but if you don't know why the HP Smart web site is not working then I need to speak to someone who does work for HP who might know.

Regards

Paul
