Community Members:

I signed up for HP's ink cartridge program late in January 2021 because I have large printing needs. Today is 06/18/21. Upon signing-up, I was almost immediately mailed a B/W and a Color cartridge and installed them both within a few weeks. My subscription plan calls for 300 copies per month and I have never been sent any additional ink cartridges. Despite my normal moderate printing habits being met, I have yet to run low on ink. A check of ink levels last evening showed at least 3/4 full supply.

I know that HP has control of my printer to monitor my ink needs and to cut me off if my payment is not met, but is it possible that ink is somehow being remotely being supplied (as crazy as that sounds to me) to the printer cartridges presently in service? Normally, store purchased ink provides me with about 50 - 75 copies. Thank you for your responses.
