HP software connecting to my printer - new

Hi, I have just got my HP Officer Jet Pro 8020 delivered today. Its taking a long time for the HP software to set up up my printer, about an hour and a half...is this normal for new device?

I understand you are trying to install the printer on the computer. The installations should not take longer than 15-20 mins depending on the computer used.

 

Are you using a Win PC or a MAC?

This would help me to provide you an accurate answer.

 

Kindly refer to this document to know how to setup the printer for the first time.
