My printer keeps trying to print a picture without anything being sent to it. It will not connect to my computer but will connect to my WIFI. I tried doing a factory reset, which now it will not print anything because I can't re-enroll in instant ink as it will not connect to even my online account. Whether this is a good thing or not because it still is trying to print something (even though there are no devices connected to it) and getting an error message saying cannot print until printer in enrolled in HP Instant Ink.

I think the printer has been hacked! What do I do?

Welcome to the HP support community.

What picture is the printer printing?

Could you share the picture of the report that the printer is printing?

I'm not allowing the picture to fully print because it's taking up the whole 8x11 sheet of paper and using a lot of ink. What I am able to make out is something about **bleep**ushima.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
